Future Scholars Group Childcare Inc. is a Group infants & toddlers facility which has been licensed by Vancouver Costal Health department through City of North Vancouver. This type of licence differs from a family daycare licence and is given only to centers with trained ITE (Infants & Toddlers Educators), ECE (Early Childhood Educators), ECE Assistants, other certified staff and substitutes who all posses current First Aid certificates and criminal record checks as required by law. Staff members are encouraged to participate in ongoing professional development and to take post-basic training as well as relevant courses and workshops.

quality of care

Future Scholars guarantees the quality of care that is provided for each child, as is known for being one of the highest in the lower mainland. With a maximum of 12 children, oversized classrooms and a lack of one-on-one time with the teachers will never be an issue. A ratio of 1 teacher to 4 children is required by law, but we choose to increase the level of care by having a fourth staff member at our centre (excluding any cleaning staff).
